Radio Frequency Treatment for Big Toe Pain Case #4
The case was conducted on 3 March 2021 at a hospital in Negeri Sembilan. The procedure was performed by an Orthopedic surgeon on a 23 -year -old man. The patient complained of pain in his left big toe.
From the MRI examination, the patient was diagnosed with chronic pain in the big toe probably osteoarthritis. The patient has been treated with a Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) procedure to his big toe with the RF Proximal Interphalangeal Joints method.
The RF procedure is a minimally invasive interventional pain management technique to treat pain problems in the big toe. It is a very safe and effective method of reducing pain.
